Locating in a densely populated or urban area will usually involve narrow lots with a high value, dictating maximum utilization of the footprint resulting in a vertical orientation of space. The challenge is to offer adequate floorspace on the footprint while preserving desirable features and a distinctive architectural style.  The designs featured here are for the most part modifications of some of our basic portfolio selections that include these requirements and are intended to be mated with a detached garage, but may also be further modified to include attached garages either oriented on the rear or side of the basic structure.  Many of the selections in this series will show third story space to illustrate available space within the roof system, which can be specified as is, as unfinished space, or as attic storage.
